The Process
If you have scheduled your mediation through your local court administrator, that office will send out a notice of the mediation to all parties. If however, you schedule directly through this website you will immediately be confirmed and guaranteed the date you have chosen. You should then notify your court administrator of the mediation. Judge Colston will send you a reminder email a few days before the mediation and if you choose Zoom over an in-person mediation, you will receive a link at that time.
If you need to cancel, please do so through the website as well. You must provide at least 3 business day’s notice to avoid a $300.00 cancellation fee.
At the mediation Judge Colston will go over the rules and her background with all parties. After the mediation, Judge Colston will provide the parties with a copy of the written agreement and will file a mediation report with the Court.
